The so-called late registrations affect 18 people, some of whom died in September, October or the first week of November with or from a corona disease. The deceased were between 46 and 96 years old.
The number of new corona cases dropped to 1,041 at 12 noon Sunday, more than 600 fewer new cases than on Saturday. However, significantly fewer tests were performed than the day before.
In the state, 14,845 people were last infected with the virus. As of Friday, Upper Austrian nursing homes and retirement homes reported 465 employees and 484 residents testing positive for Covid-19. At the same time, the state announced that the executive controls 876 bars and businesses in Upper Austria with regard to the observance of the curfew. Seven indications resulted from these controls.
