On matchday 15 of the ICE Hockey League, the Dornbirn Bulldogs celebrate their first victory in Linz after regular playing time in nearly five years (since January 8, 2016).

They beat the Black Wings, who play their first game after the forced break, clearly 6: 2 (1: 1.3: 0.2: 1).

As Vorarlberg once again shows his good form on the road, Linz must accept the seventh defeat in the eighth game.

The Bulldogs are off to a lightning start: After just 14 seconds, Yogan serves Jevpalovs in the slot and the Latvian completes this situation with a timer for an early tour for the guests.

First you notice that the High Austrians do not play for three weeks, but they are not very successful on offense. Unlike the Vorarlbergers, who are 2-0 at bat through Häußle (10th) and Romig (13th), but fail because of Linz goalkeeper Kickert.

Instead, Lebler compensates a few moments before the first break. He is criminally left alone in the high slot and makes 1: 1 with a shot (19th).

Dornbirn prevails strongly

The second section begins similarly to the first: after 38 seconds, Yogan reaches the far corner after a single pleasant action. Shortly after, a deflected shot by Fröwis lands on pole (23rd).

The Bulldogs reach Yogan’s goal in the 30th minute, who throws the puck at Kreuzeck with Kickert’s catch.

A little later, the Linz team was unlucky when, after Woger had finished, the target went straight to Kickert’s head and from there in front of Macierzynski’s shovel. He can’t take the opportunity and sets it to 4: 1 (32).

Then Kickert’s workday is over. He is replaced by Gracnar.

Later, Kaldis sank a rebound in goal (53rd), then Lebler put together a double pack (58th / PP). However, the blow does not change anything about the defeat. Mackenzie produced the final score 6-2 shortly before the minority final (59th).

With the success, the Vorarlbergers jump from tenth place in the table to sixth place. The Linzers drop one place to 10th.

Four ICE Hockey League games are scheduled for Sunday, including the Dornbirn Bulldogs against the spusu Vienna Capitals away from home. The other meetings: HC Innsbruck – KAC, Fehervar – Graz99ers and Bratislava Capitals – VSV (from 4.30pm on LIVE-TCKER).
