The Greens reportedly wanted to implement a complete lockdown starting tomorrow Saturday. The reason: shopping on Saturday could further increase the already high number of infections.
“When it became clear at the end of October that a soft shutdown was coming, people reacted unfortunately and left again correctly on All Saints Day weekend,” says a government strategist. The nearly 10,000 newly infected are the result of this behavior.
Negotiations on the schools issue were still ongoing on Friday. Lessons and supervision should remain possible, he said. The exact model is still open.
When it comes to trade and compensation for small and individual entrepreneurs, a model has been discussed in government that looks like this: Up to 40 percent of sales could be replaced. The absolute limit is the limit legally set by the EU of 800,000 euros.
