The co-founder of the Team Strache list, Karl Baron, wants to separate himself from those members who stood out in the demonstrations against the crown measures with questionable actions and anti-Semitic slogans. They are former flight attendant Christina Kohl, who was fired by the AUA and who ran for the Vienna elections, and her colleague Petar Knezevic. At a board meeting Wednesday, Baron wants to demand consequences, as he announced to the APA.

The former flight attendant chanted “Soros must go” and “Rothschild must go” at a rally and was later fired by the AUA for “anti-Semitic statements.” Knezevic was seen in a video posted on social media that shows him at a gas station. In it, he rages against the mask requirement and insults Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (ÖVP). Strache’s general secretary, Christian Höbart, had defended the candidates before the elections, which ultimately failed. However, Knezevic withdrew his candidacy.

“I don’t enjoy it,” Baron told people on the team who oppose the crown’s measures. The virus is a reality, think that the meaning of some rules can also be discussed. For him, however, it is clear that both party members “have to go”, which he also wants to bring up at the board meeting. If they don’t quit the Team Strache party, “then we’ll have to kick them out,” the list’s co-founder said.
