On Tuesday there were 6,120 new corona virus infections in Austria in a 24-hour comparison (at 9:30 am). Most of the new infections occurred in Upper Austria.
In Austria, 6,120 new coronavirus infections have been recorded in the last 24 hours. The number of deaths rose to 1,499. A total of 495 Covid-19 patients had to be treated in intensive care units on Tuesday. There were also 3,054 sick people in the normal wards. 64,704 people in Austria were considered actively infected.
164,866 people have tested positive since the pandemic began. As of Tuesday, 9:30 am, 98,663 were considered to have recovered. Most of the new cases were registered on Tuesday with 1,183 in Upper Austria and 1,027 in Lower Austria.

- Upper Austria: 1,183
- Salzburg: 310
- Steiermark: 795
- Tyrol: 950
