On Thursday, a 66-year-old truck driver drove his truck and trailer from Bosnia to Egglsberg to unload a load at a company in St. Georgen am Fillmannbach. At the company’s facility, he and a 51-year-old forklift driver opened the trailer tarp. Suddenly four men jumped out of the trailer and fled in the direction of Eggelsberg.
The forklift driver immediately called the police. The police who had been notified were able to find the four refugees next to Lamprechtshausener Strasse. During the subsequent identity check, it was discovered that these refugees were from Afghanistan. Police arrested the men between the ages of 17 and 22 and the four youths applied for asylum.
