Wels.

After allegedly downplaying the act of terrorism in Vienna, the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution and the Fight Against Terrorism is now investigating a teacher at a secondary school in Wels-Neustadt.

According to a report by the Kronenzeitung, a secondary school teacher in the Neustadt district of Wels is said to have claimed that “the attack was controlled by the media and politics and is now used to monitor citizens in their private lives” . The teacher with Turkish roots should also appear in several photos on social media with the wolf salute, which is prohibited in Austria, police confirm. The Directorate of Education filed a complaint after they were informed of the incident. The teacher was temporarily released from his duties until the case was resolved.

The pedagogue is said to have attracted attention in the area around the school with numerous confusing conspiracy theories about the corona pandemic.
