LASK celebrated their second win in the Europa League group stage on Thursday, while WAC suffered their first defeat in their third match. Linz’s team won 1-0 (0-0) at Royal Anwerpen thanks to a goal from Johannes Eggestein in the 54th minute and are now tied behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur (3-1 win at Ludogorez Rasgrad) and Antwerp ( the six counters) third. James Holland was sent off early from the field with a yellow-red (68th).
WAC had to admit defeat at Dinamo Zagreb with 0: 1 (0: 0). The Wolfsbergers, who were weakened by CoV in Zagreb and started without captain Michael Liendl, also had to settle for ten after yellow-red for Matthäus Taferner (45th) throughout the second half.
