The proportion of older people who are affected by an infection is now around 15 percent. There are differences in the average age between the districts: in Tennengau and Lungau, the actively infected have an average age of 48 and 49 years, respectively, in the city of Salzburg this value is only 40 years. In the other districts, the average age corresponds roughly to the national average of about 44 years.
