The Crown Commission will declare a high risk of infection for all districts in Austria on Friday. This means that the last yellow and orange spots on the map will also disappear.
The last yellow and orange dots on the Austrian traffic light map will disappear from Friday. At its meeting on Thursday afternoon, the Crown Commission put all districts and regions in the red, so the risk of contagion with the corona virus is very high throughout the country.
No more yellow or orange areas after traffic lights
Until now, Spittal an der Drau in Carinthia, Murau in Styria, as well as the Vorarlberg Klostertal / Arlberg and Große Walsertal regions were yellow. Güssing in Burgenland, Hollabrunn, Horn, Mistelbach and Scheibbs in Lower Austria, Klagenfurt Land, St. Veit an der Glan, Villach Land and Villach Stadt in Carinthia, as well as Reutte in Tyrol and the Bregenzerwald / Kleinwalsertal region in Vorarlberg will change orange to red.
All other districts and regions have already been classified in red. Therefore, all federal states and all of Austria are now classified as very high risk.
