Campaign manager Bill Stepien criticized in a written statement Wednesday that several Wisconsin counties had “irregularities” that “cast serious doubts on the validity of the results.”
Despite an extensive vote recount for the presidential election, the announcement of the results in Wisconsin was delayed on Wednesday. There are only two small towns with a total of 600 residents whose votes have not yet been registered, the Wisconsin election commission said. A commissioner said the votes would be double-checked at the district level and statewide to rule out errors.
Television stations and the AP news agency also initially decided not to announce an election winner for Wisconsin. After counting about 99 percent of the votes, Democratic candidate Joe Biden led 49.4 percent ahead of Republican President Trump at 48.8 percent.

The difference is that some media have already criticized Arizona Biden, others have not. With wins in Nevada, Michigan and Wisconsin, Biden could already get the necessary majority.
Majority Leader of the Republicans in the United States Senate, Mitch McConnell, believes the presidential election has yet to be decided. The country will soon see how the voters’ decision turned out, incumbent Trump’s confidant told reporters on Wednesday. “We still don’t know who won the presidential race,” he said. Republican Trump declared himself the winner on Wednesday night, although the counting of votes in several US states continues hours later.
McConnell also said he considered Trump’s announcement to continue the fight for the court election as unproblematic. If the election result is close, “it has happened before and it could happen this time,” McConnell said. “Going to court is the way we resolve uncertainties,” he said.
Trump also outraged the change in the majority in the US presidential election tally. On Tuesday night he led in many key states, in some cases solidly, the US president wrote on the Internet service Twitter on Wednesday. This lead then “magically disappeared” in one state after another. This was “very strange,” added the captioned headline.
Counting takes longer due to the high percentage of votes by mail. Certifying these votes is usually a lengthy process in the US, sometimes the signatures have to be compared individually with those from the electoral roll. In the three states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, the Republican Party had halted efforts to open the election envelopes before Tuesday’s election.
