Relatives found a 29-year-old girl dead in her Vienna-Penzing apartment on Sunday night, she was shot in the head. The suspect likely shot himself.
A 29-year-old woman was found dead in her Vienna-Penzing apartment by her mother and her ex-partner on November 1 around 5:30 p.m. According to police spokesman Markus Dittrich, the victim had a gunshot wound to the head area, but there was no weapon in place.
Investigators then went to the apartment of the ex-boyfriend’s half brother in Vienna-Neubau and found him dead. It is possible that he committed suicide.

According to Dittrich, the 29-year-old half-brother and the 51-year-old half brother had been in closer contact for some time. He had two pistols, a Glock pistol and a revolver. The 29-year-old was shot and killed in her Satzberggasse apartment with one of the two weapons.
The background to the bloody act was still not completely clear on Monday. Investigators hoped to learn more about the interrogations of the 36-year-old woman’s ex-boyfriend and her mother, among others.
