On Sunday around 12:30 pm, a 31-year-old woman from Villach was driving her car in the Rosegger Landesstrasse towards Rosegg. At a right turn, the woman swerved to the left side of the lane for an inexplicable cause and struck the oncoming vehicle head-on, driven by a 59-year-old woman from the Klagenfurt / Land district. The 24-year-old man from Villach who was driving in the car of the 31-year-old woman suffered fatal injuries as a result of the frontal collision, the driver herself and another 22-year-old from Villach who was driving with her were seriously injured. The driver involved in two suffered minor injuries.
