Crown numbers in Austria reach a new record.

In Austria, a corona record follows the following: on Friday, 5,627 new corona infections were recorded, more than ever. Only Upper Austria recorded more than 1,300 infections, Vienna just over 900.
In the federal states, Upper Austria clearly tops the list with 1,302 new infections, followed by Vienna with 906 corona positive tests.

New infections in the last 24 hours are distributed among the Austrian federal states as follows:
- Burgenland: 80
- Carinthia: 194
- Lower Austria: 876
- Upper Austria: 1,302
- Salzburg: 756
- Steiermark: 650
- Tyrol: 521
- Vorarlberg: 342
- Vienna: 906
As of Friday, 99,576 cases had been registered in Austria, 1,082 (plus 25) of them died and 64,987 (plus 1,621) recovered. There are currently 33,507 active sick people in Austria who are registered with the authorities. On Thursday it was 29,527, which is an increase of 3,980.
1,803 people are in hospital treatment for coronavirus, 263 of them in intensive care units. The day before, this was 1,692 and 248 respectively.
So far, 2,203,993 people have been tested, in the last 24 hours 26,421 tests were performed, 21.3 percent of which were positive, resulting in a new record of 5,627 new infections.
