Defending champion Dominic Thiem is in the quarter-finals of the Erste Bank Open at the Wiener Stadthalle.
The two seeds from Lower Austria defeated the Chilean conqueror of Wawrinka Cristian Garin in straight sets with 6: 3, 6: 2. On Friday, the 27-year-old from Lower Austria will now face Andrey Rublev, who is five of them, in the quarterfinals.
