276 new infections were recorded in Vorarlberg in 24 hours.
Since the pandemic began in March, 4,313 people from Vorarlberg have tested positive for the coronavirus, 2,364 of whom are considered recovered. There are currently 69 people hospitalized in Vorarlberg, twelve of whom are in intensive care.
A total of 276 new infections have been recorded in Vorarlberg since the previous day (4pm). According to the State Medical Directorate, 221 of them are still being clarified regarding the origin of the infection. 66 people were reported to be healthy in the period under review.
Districts
Most of the active cases are currently in the Bregenz district (581). They are followed by Feldkirch (546), Dornbirn (544) and Bludenz (230).
Municipalities
Currently there are active corona cases in 79 of the 96 communities in Vorarlberg. Most of them in Dornbirn (280), Lustenau (177), Feldkirch (164) and Bregenz (157).
7 day incidence
The seven-day incidence, which indicates how many out of 100,000 people tested positive in the past seven days, is 351 for Vorarlberg. The seven-day incidence across Austria is 236 (as of Wednesday at 2pm).
Vorarlberg ranks first in a comparison of the federal states. They are followed by Tirol (331) and Salzburg (307).
This number is especially important with regard to travel advisories. An incidence of 50 is a guideline here.
The seven-day incidence is currently more than 200 in all districts of Vorarlberg. The Dornbirn district currently has the second highest value of all Austrian districts with 541.3.
