Most of the new cases this time occurred in Lower Austria.
Once again, almost 3,000 new infections were recorded in Austria in 24 hours. This time, with 590, there are more new cases in Lower Austria. Vienna followed with 456 and Tirol with 436 new infections.
So far there have been 86,102 positive results in Austria. As of today (October 27, 2020, 9:30 a.m.), 1,005 people in Austria have died as a result of the corona virus and 60,308 have recovered. There are currently 1,400 people in hospital treatment for the coronavirus and 203 of them are in intensive care units.

Five dead in Vienna
As of Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 8 am, 28,130 positive tests have been confirmed in Vienna.
The number of deaths associated with the virus is 319. Four women (95, 85, 66, 54) and one man (87) have died.
20,628 people have recovered.
Yesterday 5,388 corona tests were carried out in Vienna, making a total of 602,207 tests.
Six new deaths in Styria
In Styria, six new deaths have been recorded in connection with the corona virus, as the communication status of Styria announced on Tuesday. All three women and three men were reported to have been infected with the virus. As of October 27, a total of 204 people in Styria were reported to have died from or with the corona virus.
The dead are a woman (95) and a man (80) from the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district and a man (60) and a woman (95) from the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district. In addition, a woman (88) from the Voitsberg district and a man (71) from the Murtal district have died.
