Animal rescue by firefighters
Online since October 26, 2020 at 5:47 pm
In the late afternoon of the national holiday in Thalheim near Wels (Wels-Land district), firefighters were able to rescue unharmed a cat that was trapped between iron girders on the grounds of a locksmith.
Emergency services were alerted to a cat meowing loudly in the grounds of a locksmith shop in Thalheim near Wels. A jack is trapped between two of the so-called “H-beams” on which corrugated metal sheets were stacked. The fire brigade first relocated the metal sheets, then the beams could be separated and the trapped cat could escape unscathed. Apparently he ran home immediately afterwards.
