On Monday, FC Liefering won the duel between the first and the second in the second division before Matchday 7. The leader of the table beat SV Lafnitz 1-0 (0-0) and cleared the way for the GAK. The Graz team beat Blau Weiß Linz 3: 1 (1: 0) at home and moved up to second place against the Lafnitzers with the same points (13 each). Behind them are BW Linz and Austria Klagenfurt with 12 points each.
At Grödig, Luka Sucic scored the golden goal in the 87th minute with a long-range shot for the “young bulls” who cannot move up and are four points ahead of the “peloton” in first place. It was the fifth win in the seventh game for Lieferinger in two draws.
GAK wins the best game
In pole position for a place in the upper house is now GAK, who in front of more than 1,000 spectators in Graz had the advantage over BW Linz in the second top game of the round.
