In recent days, there have been a total of 23 complaints in the Tennengau community of Kuchl for violations of the quarantine measures imposed in mid-October.
According to a report by ORF Salzburg, 14 of the reports were made to health authorities “because residents wanted to leave Kuchl without permission and under false pretenses or because they wanted to sneak past checkpoints.”
Two cases were even reported to the prosecution because it is said that two people who tested positive for the coronavirus tried to leave the quarantine zone.
Due to the sharp increase in corona infections, the state government had quarantined the Kuchl community as of October 17 (midnight). This is valid until November 1, the entrances to the site are controlled by the police. Hotels and restaurants are closed, shops can remain open. Only key workers can come and go.
The number of actively infected people in the Tennengau community is now clearly declining. The state of Salzburg reported 93 cases from there on Sunday. Saturday was 98, Friday 101 (Thursday: 118; Wednesday: 124).
