Salzburg – Sunday, October 25, 2020, 11:52 am
The ICE game between EC Red Bull Salzburg and Bratislava Capitals, which was advanced from round 34 and was scheduled for this Sunday, has been moved to the original date of January 8, 2021.
According to a league broadcast, the reason is “medical precautions.”
Due to the numerous crown cases in almost all ICE clubs, almost all games planned for the weekend had to be canceled beforehand. Only the early game of the 13th round was played on Saturday between Bratislava and Black Wings. The Slovaks could barely win with 4: 3 (info >>>).
Basically, the ICE Hockey League wants to keep playing. “The main goal is always to be able to play as many games as possible,” says a letter signed by President Jochen Pildner-Steinburg and CEO Christian Feichtinger.
Short term changes could not be avoided (read HERE >>>).
