2,782 new infections in Austria

Again, there are more than 2,700 new infections in Austria in 24 hours. The Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Health accurately report 2,782 additional corona positive tests. There are 269 new cases in Salzburg.
These 269 new infections represent the highest value to date, writes the state of Salzburg on its coronavirus topic page. The number of people currently actively infected in the state stands at 1,712 (yesterday: 1,568). This corresponds to an increase of 144 people compared to yesterday at 8:30 am
In Salzburg, 105 municipalities are currently affected by Covid-19. The seven-day incidence increases from 207.9 on Saturday to 234. The national average is 169.8.
57,858 corona cases recovered in Austria
So far 80,811 positive results have been obtained in Austria. As of today (October 25, 2020, 9:30 am) 979 people in Austria have died as a result of the coronavirus and 57,858 have recovered. There are currently 1,225 people in hospital treatment, 174 of them in intensive care units.
