In particular, there will be police support for training and higher education, but also “scenario training” and “close cooperation in crisis situations”. According to the Interior Minister, the focus of cooperation is in the areas of “organized begging”, “shoplifting and gang crimes”, “robberies at ATMs”, “addictive substances and associated crimes”, “computer crimes “and” telephone fraud. “
“The life we know is not possible without security”
According to the Interior Ministry, the cooperation aims to strengthen “awareness of dangers in retail trade” and improve the implementation of preventive measures. To increase the sense of security for Spar employees, police prevention officers, together with security officers and coordinators of the “GEMEINSAM.SICHER” initiative, would bring savings employees closer to preventive content, according to Nehammer .
“Without security, the life we know is not possible,” the interior minister said. According to the company, Spar has relied on the safety of employees and customers for several years. “With the right behavior, you can make an essential contribution to safety for everyone,” Reisch said. “It is even more gratifying that the police gave us the highest marks for our safety concept after a thorough check.”
