Almost 1,300 people actively infected in Salzburg
Here are the figures for October 21, 2020 at 11:00 am: 4,033 people in the state of Salzburg tested positive for the corona virus, there are 1,287 people actively infected in the country, which is also the highest value since it started the pandemic.

There are currently 48 Covid-19 patients in the hospital, another ten are being treated in the intensive care unit. The death toll related to Covid-19 is 46.
Coronavirus: Seven-day incidence is increasing rapidly
The number of new infections in the past seven days based on 100,000 inhabitants, the seven-day incidence, has risen in Salzburg to 177, the second highest in Germany after Tyrol. “Of the districts, Tennengau is still clearly ahead with 386, but yesterday’s high of 431 could already have been exceeded for now, because the number of cases is at least a little down,” says Gernot Filipp, head of state statistics. Pongau is already at 273 (215 on October 19), Flachgau at 171 (154), Pinzgau has risen to 115 (87), the city of Salzburg has a value of 96 (69), Lungau is with 94 (94) just below that.
Dynamic development in Salzburg

- Grossarl: 42 new infections (last seven days), 1,210 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants
- St. Martin am Tennengebirge: 31 new infections (last seven days), 1,824 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants
- Toads: 30 new infections (last seven days), 1,409 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants
- Koppl: 25 new infections (last seven days), 688 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants
