If Austrians were allowed to vote in the election of the president of the United States, Joe Biden would come out of the race as the winner. His rival Trump would fare badly, especially with women.
If the Austrians could vote on the future president of the United States, the result would be clear. According to a recent Market Agent poll, 85.6 percent of Austrians would vote for challenger Joe Biden of the Democrats and only 14.4 percent for Republican Donald Trump. Trump would fare even worse among Austrian women, only one in ten would vote for him.
American elections are also interesting for Austrians
In general, US elections are received with great interest in this country, eight out of ten Austrians show great interest in the elections according to the survey. Two-thirds of those surveyed follow the US election campaign at least occasionally through the media, and six in ten are curious as to who Americans will ultimately vote for. Only 15 percent of Austrians leave the result practically intact, according to polls.
Austrians are more cautious about the presumed outcome of the elections. 55.4 percent of Austrians expect Biden to win, 44.6 percent expect Trump to be the winner.
