As of Tuesday afternoon, there are 912 active corona positive cases in Vorarlberg.

As of Tuesday, 4pm, 3,067 people in Vorarlberg have so far tested positive for Sars-CoV-2. 2,127 of them have recovered, 28 people have died.

Of the 83 new infections, 64 are traced back to people who previously tested positive. In 19 infections, the sources of infection are still unclear and surveys are ongoing. In three cases, an infection outside the country can be assumed: Liechtenstein, Hungary and Macedonia.

After a total of 155 new infections were recorded in Vorarlberg on Monday, 83 new cases were added on Tuesday. During the same observation period, 20 people were reported to have recovered. The number of active cases on Tuesday is 912.

In Vorarlberg, seven people are still receiving treatment for a Covid-19 infection in the intensive care unit and another 25 are in hospital treatment.

Districts

Most cases by district are still found in Bregenz (326), followed by Feldkirch (289), Dornbirn (183) and Bludenz (110).

Communities

With 101 cases, Dornbirn still tops the municipality table with the most actively infected people. They are followed by Bregenz (91) and Feldkirch (89).

7-day incidence

The seven-day incidence, which indicates how many out of 100,000 people tested positive in the past seven days, is 161 for Vorarlberg. The seven-day incidence across Austria is 110 (as of Monday at 2pm).

This number is especially important with regard to travel advisories. An incidence of 50 is a guideline here.

The seven-day incidence in all districts of Vorarlberg currently exceeds 100.
