Briefly advised of a second crash. But many only had eyes for the turquoise object glittering in the background. Is that a lightsaber? Or even a listening device, as a Twitter conspiracy was suspected with a wink? “Today” has asked and provides the answer.

Obtained from Chancellor Kurz’s office “Today” the resolution of what the mysterious object is about: it is a turquoise button stamping device from one of the last electoral campaigns. It was given to the Chancellor as a souvenir, they say, and now it is there. That too will be debated.
