In a 24-hour comparison, there were 1,121 new infections with the corona virus in Austria on Monday (at 9:30 am). Vienna has 266 cases.
In Austria, 1,121 new SARS-CoV-2 infections have been reported in the last 24 hours. There was a huge advantage for the hospital patients. Almost 800 Covid 19 patients were in the hospital on Monday.
The number of deaths increased from eleven to 904. A total of 14,550 test results were reported in the last 24 hours, of which about 7.7 percent were positive. On Monday, the number of actively infected people increased to 14,664 people.
Big advantage for crown patients in hospital
Across Austria, 799 Covid-19 patients were treated in hospital on Monday, 57 more than the day before. 145 patients needed intensive medical care, ten more than on Sunday. At 9:30 a.m. M., 65,927 people have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 since the start of the pandemic. 50,359 are considered recovered. As always, on weekends, significantly fewer test results were assessed and entered into the epidemiological registry (EMS) – for example, in Carinthia and Burgenland there were fewer than 300.
