Freerider spilled in column
Mountain rescuers were able to abseil about 40 meters into the crevasse. However, since a lot of snow fell, emergency services had to shovel it off and bring it to the surface with backpacks. Rescuers in the Tyrolean mountains are now supposed to help with the steam probes. So far they have been able to advance four to five meters more.
In addition to the mountain rescuers from Salzburg and Tyrol, there are three Alpine policemen and a helicopter on site.
