Two cars caught fire today, Sunday, in St. Michael im Lungau. Residents sounded the alarm after a loud bang woke them up. The cause is completely unclear.
Both vehicles were parked on the street. Neighbors immediately notified firefighters, who were able to quickly control the fire, Salzburg police said in a press release.
Fuel leak
In the area of the fire there was also a fuel leak to the adjacent ground, which had to be removed. The St. Michael / Lg. and Oberweißburg.
Police are investigating the car fire
