On Thursday evening, Governor Thomas Stelzer and Christine Haberlander (both vice presidents) will advise medical experts on the current situation in Corona in Upper Austria. According to information from OÖN, two settings have already been set: In the restaurant sector, guest registration will be introduced. And in homes for the elderly and the elderly, the level of protection will be increased, which will mean that visits will be restricted or will be made more in controlled channels.
Guest registration is primarily intended to assist authorities with contact person management, which becomes increasingly difficult as there are new corona cases. It remains to be seen whether only one person per table or all should register. There are several monitoring options in nursing homes, for example, separate visiting rooms, strict pre-registration, or fever measurements at the entrance. The detailed rules that exactly apply are also decided at night. The tightening will take effect in the next few days. The exact date is not yet known.
It goes without saying that special attention will be paid to the advice of the experts and their recommendations will be taken into account. Stelzer and Haberlander also believe that the federal government should advise on the necessary measures due to the increasing number of infections in Austria.
Also at night in Vienna, the traffic light commission decided on the current color schemes. As expected, it turned red in Wels, which means “very high risk.” The Rohrbach district was also on the verge of turning red, but was left with orange (high risk).
