For a long time the tenure was questionable, now it is fixed: Christmas markets in Vienna will likely take place this year despite the coronavirus pandemic.
Elaboration of the prevention concept: drilling supports allowed
The market office had approved a prevention concept that had been drawn up on behalf of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, ORF Vienna reported. A spokeswoman for the Chamber of Commerce confirmed it at the request of the APA. Therefore, punch stands are allowed.

The idea behind the Chamber of Commerce’s commitment is that a fully developed action plan should be made available to market operators in Vienna, the APA spokeswoman explained. This, then, still has to be adapted to the respective market conditions. The camera is currently receiving feedback from operators that its concepts based on the camera concept have been approved, he said.
