The market office had approved a prevention concept that had been drawn up on behalf of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, reported the ORF Vienna. A spokeswoman for the Chamber of Commerce confirmed it, so punch stands are allowed.
The core of the camera concept is: All operators and visitors must wear mouth and nose protection. For environmental physician Hans-Peter Hutter, who developed the concept on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, wearing oral and nasal protection is the most important measure of all. Differences in the markets
Depending on the size and location of the Christmas markets, different measurements should be used. “There are general suggestions, one-way regulations or, when necessary, access restrictions,” Hutter explained. The idea behind the Chamber of Commerce’s commitment is that a fully developed action plan should be made available to market operators in Vienna, the APA spokeswoman explained. This, then, still has to be adapted to the respective market conditions. The camera is currently receiving feedback from operators that its concepts based on the camera concept have been approved, he said.
