Sufficient signatures for the registration process – Next target: 100,000 signatures for parliamentary treatment
Vienna (OTS) – ICI, the evidence-based corona information initiative, announces that the first milestone has been reached and that the necessary statements of support for a registration process have been completed. Only when the 100,000 signatures required for a presentation in parliament have been collected will the ICI submit the application for the registration procedure. After that, the BMI should set an entry week.
The popular initiative can and should be signed by as many people as possible before the official registration week. Either in a municipality (possible at any municipal office) or online (with mobile phone signature or citizen card) here
Objectives of the popular initiative: Many arbitrary government regulations have caused massive human, social and economic damage. Through constitutional measures, all Covid-19 laws will be repealed, the corresponding sanctions repealed, fines paid reimbursed, and compensation for recognized damages under the previous epidemic law.
Demands of the popular initiative:
one. Withdrawal of the law: Withdrawal of all laws passed this year in relation to Corona (the so-called Covid-19 measures), including changes to the previous Epidemic Law.
two. Claim for compensation: Claims for damages under the above epidemic law must be enforceable legal claims and not petitions. Legal protection must therefore be given, a court of law.
3. Administrative sanctions: Administrative sanctions will be suspended in accordance with the so-called Covid-19 action laws or decrees. All related administrative criminal proceedings must be stopped immediately. Fines paid will be refunded.
Four. Transparency: All experts and their reports commissioned by the government in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic must be published. It must be demonstrated which measures were taken on the basis of political considerations and which are based on a scientific basis.
5. Help money: Aid funds under the Covid-19 measures should only be paid on the basis of a corresponding detailed legal basis.
6. Data Protection: Medical data, including a person’s immunity status, must remain private in all circumstances. Authorizations, for example for events, freedom of travel and authorizations, should not be dependent in any way on a person’s immunity.
7. Reform of the Constitutional Court: Establishment of a senate structure, since the VfGH currently only makes decisions in plenary sessions within the framework of 4 sessions per year. In addition, the possibility of urgent decisions by the Constitutional Court should be given.
8. Amendment to the official liability law: In the case of unconstitutional laws, official liability should be possible, even if this law has been legally enforced. There is currently no possibility of asserting official liability claims based on the legal application of such laws after an unconstitutional law has been repealed.
A representative INTEGRAL survey of 1,000 Austrians commissioned by ICI also showed how badly Austrians are suffering from Covid measures. Consequently, the fear of financial problems is much greater than of an infection. Almost 3/4 of those surveyed cited economic problems as their greatest concern and a large part of the population considers the fear fueled by politics and the media to be exaggerated. https://www.ots.at/presseaussendung/OTS_20201009_OTS0084
Increasingly respected doctors are also criticizing Covid’s measures. Most recently at a press conference: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AW6eF8zxCHw
