From Sunday to Monday, the number of new corona infections was again just under 1,000, there were 979 new infections. Most of them were new infections, 327 in Vienna, 130 in Upper Austria and 124 in Tyrol.

So far, a total of 20,689 verifiably confirmed coronavirus infections have been recorded in the federal capital. There was also another death: a 71-year-old person who already suffered from previous illnesses has died. This means that there are 274 deaths in relation to Covid-19 in Vienna.
The number of active cases rose again slightly. 5,398 people are currently sick in Vienna. 15,017 people are healthy again.
There have been since the beginning of the pandemic 1,822,931 Tests in Austria, 13,668 new tests were added yesterday.
