The marathon of excuses, which is currently spreading across Austria (Van der Bellen for the Slovenians from Carinthia) is almost unbearable and, due to the constant return, inflationary and no longer credible. All the injustice that has been done to the different ethnic groups cannot be undone with a thousand apologies and it sounds like a mockery to the ears of those affected. And those who have committed this injustice, mostly no longer in this world, therefore they can no longer be held responsible. But why do the later born have to apologize over and over again for something they are not at fault for, or is there still family responsibility? Many peoples of this land committed or continue to commit incredible atrocities, nor have British, Belgians, USA, Australia (the list goes on and on) have apologized for the genocide they committed against the indigenous peoples of their continents or colonies during the time colonial. , but Austria always has to kneel everywhere. A unique, honest and heartfelt apology arrives and is accepted, but participating in all kinds of memorial days is still embarrassing, inflationary, and incredible.
