A 21-year-old man committed a robbery at a gas station in Eugendorf (Flachgau) on Thursday morning. The man pointed a gun at the employee and asked for cash. After the attack, he surrendered.

As announced by the police, the perpetrator entered a gas station in Eugendorf in the morning, took three items from the shelves and went to the sales counter. The 55-year-old employee was scanning the merchandise when the man suddenly pulled out a black pistol, threatened him, and asked for cash from the till.

21 year old faces the police

The gas station clerk immediately sounded the alarm. When the perpetrator noticed that the police were arriving at the scene, he himself dialed the police emergency number and stated that he had just carried out the robbery and that he would like to turn himself in. A short time later he was arrested in the parking lot by patrol officers without resistance.

The loot for a three-digit amount in euros and the weapon used were secured to the 21-year-old. When asked, he made a full confession. The unemployed gave the reason for the lack of money. The young man was transferred to prison.
