The White House released two photos of US President Donald Trump late Saturday night (local time) showing him at work from the hospital. The images show Trump working on documents: once in a suit and no tie, sitting at a round desk where files can also be viewed, once in a white shirt at the head of a long conference table, flipping through documents.
Trump (74) was airlifted to Walter Reed Military Hospital in northern Washington on Friday night due to a coronavirus infection; we have reported it in detail. The office space also belongs to your neighborhood there. Trump’s personal physician, Sean Conley, had stated before the images were released that Trump had worked on Saturday and had moved around the hospital without difficulty.
In one of the two photos, the president appears to be sitting at the same desk from which he had previously posted a video message. In it, Trump had said, “When I came here, I didn’t feel so good. Now I feel much better.” His voice sounded a little thick and he seemed like he was out of breath. In the next few days, “the real test,” Trump said, but added: “I think I’ll be back soon.”
