FC Flyeralarm Admira has achieved its first victory of this season in the Bundesliga. Those from Lower Austria celebrated a 3-1 win at home to newly promoted SV Guntamatic Ried. Maximilian Breunig (5th) and Roman Kerschbaum (23rd / Elfer) secured the hosts’ 2-0 lead at half-time. After the break, Marco Grülle made the game exciting, before Tomislav Tomic made the decision with a straight converted corner.
Admira is poisonous and efficient: very little comes from the climber
The 2-2 draw against Wiener Austria should have given Admira a tailwind as the home team got off to a great start: Tomic crossed into the box after a short corner kick, where Manuel Kerhe had overlooked Maximilian Breunig . The young German remained calm and headed safely 1-0 (5th).
Admira acted completely differently from the first two games of this season. Ried’s guests, on the other hand, lacked creativity and ideas to set up the game. In the 23rd minute, Breunig took out the Hoffer, who refueled in the area and was placed by Ried Radlinger’s goalkeeper. Referee Weinberger immediately signaled the point and imposed a penalty, which Roman Kerschbaum masterfully converted – 2-0 (23rd).
Ried’s coach, Gerald Baumgartner, reacted to his team’s moderate performance and dropped Kerhe and Ziegl after just half an hour. Takougnadi and Satin were new to the game. The Rieder was able to stabilize a bit and cut through substitute Satin to at least one conclusion, but his volley rushed just past the gate (40th).
Grüll makes the game exciting, but a direct corner kick fixes Admira’s win
Immediately after the break, Innviertler received a penalty after Kerschbaum held out against Gschweidl. As in the first round against WSG Tirol, Marco Grüll started from the spot and scored confidently until the next goal (49th). This quick connection did the guests from Upper Austria good and gave them new courage.
As the game progressed, the Rieder became a bit more convincing, but only the home team was efficient today: Tomislav Tomic took a corner kick from the right straight into the goal of Sahin-Radlinger in the 66th minute, who was stretched in vain: the ball hit the far corner. (66.). After all, there was little promotion today, so Admira celebrated a 3-1 home win, although it must be added that the goals conceded would have been avoidable from SV Ried’s point of view.
