Since Falco should not have used either passages of text or melodies, one is still relaxed about legal steps against the party.
Hofbauer admits, however, that the song’s performer is a Falco impersonator. “He’s been doing what I’ve heard professionally for a long time,” he says. The intention did not emanate from the HC team, because: “We did not commission this song. We received it from the fans of the party to support us,” says Hofbauer.
