Austria’s industry leader Red Bull Salzburg will face defending champions Bayern Munich, Atlético Madrid and Lokomotiv Moscow in Group A of the Champions League.
For the second time in a row, Red Bull Salzburg is in the group stage of the Champions League and, for the first time, the Austrian series champions have worked their way into the main competition through qualifying. On Thursday, the day after the 3-1 playoff second-leg win against Maccabi Tel Aviv, Dominik Szoboszlai & Co. listened to his opponents in the first division of European club football.
Salzburg moved from Pot 3 to Group A, where they will face defending champions Bayern Munich, Atlético Madrid and Lokomotiv Moscow.
The 2020/21 Champions League begins on October 20 and 21, respectively.
