Börse Express: Vienna Stock Market Expected to Easier Before Trading / ATX Indexed 0.25 Percent Lower Before Trading

[ad_1]

The Vienna Stock Exchange should open the trading day in the red on Thursday. An indication in the leading domestic ATX index traded 0.25 percent lighter about half an hour before the start of trading. This would mean that the changing development in Vienna would continue. After a strong start to the week, there were clear losses for the ATX on Tuesday and the day before it showed gains again.

On the other hand, the futures on the opening of the main European stock exchanges indicate a good start of trading on the day of the report. The reporting situation for the domestic market is still very weak. Erste Group experts contacted analysts and revised their target price for Raiffeisen Bank International shares down from € 26.5 to € 19.0. The “Buy” recommendation, however, was confirmed by the experts.

On Wednesday, the ATX closed 0.61 percent higher at 2,108.75 points. In Vienna, there were clearly positive signs in heavily weighted domestic bank stocks after significant losses the day before. Raiffeisen Bank International shareholders were able to record a 1.3 percent price increase. BAWAG was up a substantial 2.7 percent and Erste Group was up 0.7 percent.
