FC Bayern Munich continued their title tour against Borussia Dortmund. At 3-2 on Wednesday night, Corentin Tolisso (18th), Thomas Müller (32nd) and Joshua Kimmich (82nd) led the Munich team to victory in the German Super Cup and their fifth title this year.
BVB struggled to rebound with goals from Julian Brandt (39th) and Erling Haaland (55th), even smelling 3: 2. But then came Kimmich, who hit when he fell. Bayern, for whom ÖFB star David Alaba was just a replacement, looked more tired from then on. But a fumble by Thomas Delaney sealed Bayern’s triumph. Kimmich used his own margin with an artistic contribution in the fall.
