In Austria, 556 new corona infections were recorded on Monday, the Interior Ministry reported in a broadcast. In Salzburg, 31 new cases were added.
As of today, 790 people in Austria have died from the consequences of the corona virus and 34,052 have recovered. There are currently 469 people in hospital treatment, 88 of them in intensive care units.
