Two bailiffs were killed with a gun Thursday during an eviction in Vienna. The attacker is on the run.
As “Kurier” reports, an eviction in Johann-Strauss-Gasse in district 4 completely got out of hand in the afternoon. Neighboring residents also report shooting.
According to the report, the person whose house was to be evicted shot the two bailiffs with a compressed air rifle or a soft pistol. The suspected attacker is on the run and a big manhunt is taking place on the shooter.
Pistol pommel wounds inflicted
The injured sheriffs suffered bruises to the head and received medical treatment at the scene. After first aid, the injured were taken to hospital by ambulance.
According to “Kurier”, it is said that the injuries were not caused by projectiles, but with the pommel of a compressed air pistol.
