One day before the start of the new ICEHL season, the HCB Südtirol Alperia reports the first corona cases. The match against the capitals of Bratislava was then canceled.

TO Sport News-Information, a player got infected with the corona virus before leaving for Bratislava. He then went into quarantine along with another professional. Then the rest of the team, which had meanwhile left for Slovakia, underwent a series of tests. Due to more positive cases, the game against the newcomer to the league on Friday was canceled.
According to the club, all infected players are symptom free. It’s unclear when the match will pick up. It is true that all parts of the HCB are suspended until further notice. The league will announce the additional course of action at a later date.

Four players and an employee also tested positive for the corona virus in league competitor Fehervar. The ICEHL game between the Graz99ers and Fehervar will take place on Friday anyway.
