According to the police, the 41-year-old motorcyclist from the Hollabrunn district entered the opposite lane on the main Glaubendorf road (Heldenberg / Hollabrunn district), probably due to inappropriate speed, and collided with a car in the front zone.
The motorcycle rider and his passenger were thrown from the motorcycle by the collision and died at the scene of the accident due to their injuries. A breathalyzer test on the 63-year-old car driver had come back positive and his driver’s license had been provisionally withdrawn. The driver of the car and the two occupants of the vehicle were unharmed.
