Another Gamsstadt Cup for Carinthia. At the Red Bulls Salute in Kitzbühel, KAC defeated the favorites from Munich 2-1. As the game progressed, the red jackets showed an impressive increase in performance.

The prestigious Red Bulls Salute has been held twelve times so far. Known names in the ice hockey scene such as the Los Angeles Kings, Sparta Prague, ZSC Lions, SC Bern, Lulea and Jyväskylä can be found on the winners list. The bull stable took four victories (2x Salzburg, 2x Munich). Never another red-white-red team. Also because one was never invited. It’s like avoiding competition from your own country. Obviously rightly so.
