Now it’s fixed: Gareth Bale will return from Real Madrid to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 31-year-old was enthusiastically received by the fans on Friday when he arrived in London (all info >>>>). Tottenham finally confirmed the move on Saturday night. For now, Bale returns on loan for one season. The one-year contract will cost Tottenham around 25 million euros, according to English media.

Bale played for the “Spurs” from 2007 to 2013 and became a star with the North Londoners. He hadn’t played a role at Real in a long time.

The defender of the Spanish team Sergio Reguilón, 23, also moves from Real to Tottenham, for which the Londoners transfer to Real Madrid about 30 million euros.

Bale moved to Real Madrid in the summer of 2013 for the record sum of around 100 million euros. He celebrated numerous successes with the club, including twice the Spanish championship, once the Cup and four times the Champions League. Recently, however, it was rarely used.

In coach Zinedine Zidane’s plans, Bale no longer played a role until 2022 despite an ongoing contract. Bale’s relationship with Zidane, the club’s fans and the Spanish media is considered tense.
