After Alois Schroll, the head of the Ybbs SP city council, learned of the Covid-19 disease, the Ybbs opposition parties demanded that the city chief’s calendar be disclosed.
Statements now delivered by the SP district head and the EU deputy, Günther Sidl. He attacks the ÖVP because of these attempts to turn the illness of the city chief into political change. “I find it very questionable what the ÖVP is trying to do here. Alois Schroll was tested when he first suspected a disease, isolated himself and informed the whole community about the situation,” emphasizes Sidl.
Ybbser SP city councilor and city party leader Dominic Schlatter describe the ÖVP’s approach as “last class”: “In my opinion, reporting infected people is counterproductive and last class. Also strange the clamor for the publication of an appointment calendar by the equally infected MP Karl Moser. ”
